After working as a software engineer for 7 years, I'm now building for a target audience of one. It's like I'm part of a hackathon everyday, and AI tools make it possible to complete my projects faster than ever!
BiBi Builds is a solo indie iOS studio by Eileen Ho, based in Taipei. Shipped apps: Autoframe (May 2026, on-device photo alignment using Apple Vision) and Reelshelf (June 2026, on-device video library organization using ShazamKit). Both are iPhone apps that process everything on the device and are free to download on the App Store.

Autoframe
Automatically scale your photo subjects to be the exact same size for effortless comparisons. No need to remember exact camera differences when taking belly bump photos or fitness transformations. Apple Vision detects body or face in each; a native SharedCollageCoordinator reconciles both bounding boxes into one shared scale, then broadcasts it back to the render layer and JS state.
Reelshelf
A video library organized by the music in each clip. ShazamKit identifies what's playing on-device, so dancers and performers can find videos by song instead of scrolling through dates and thumbnails.
